Here are some conveyors that we have recently designed and built. |
The picture on the right shows a 1200 mm by 35 metre conveyor being erected that was designed by Jack Mills and fabricated by James Mills and Chris Ford. The conveyor was fabricated and transported in 3 sections. It has a designed capacity of 1266 TPH but was installed to transport 500 TPH. With our design of conveyor, the belt runs within the frame, this makes them more compact, easier to guard and very simple to enclose for dust retention and control. This is one of fourteen units that we made. |

The conveyors and plant shown on the left was designed by Andrew Catto and built locally. These are conventional lattice conveyors with walkways, Normally we would not use this type of conveyor, but they were specified by the client. In this picture the conveyors are still being erected. |
The picture on the right shows three 600 mm by 20 metre conveyors that were designed and fabricated by us. The conveyors were fabricated and transported in 2 sections The narrow section of the conveyors makes it easy to mount them into tight spaces. The method of support allows plenty of clear space for the loader to operate. The design was by Jack Mills, they were fabricated by James Mills and Chris Ford. |
The conveyors shown on the left were designed and built by Jack Mills and Walter Lacy and fabricated by us on site in Jamaica. The conveyors were designed to carry hot lime from a kiln and were fitted with 400 degree Celsius, heat resistant belts. To prevent the lime from being hydrated during rainfall, the conveyors were completely enclosed. |

These conveyors were built Designed by Jack Mills and Walter Lacy and fabricated in Jamaica, some were lattice and some were channel.
Both types worked fine.
We also designed and built the rest of the plant shown in the picture and supplied the Cat 966. |
The pictures above show one of 17 conveyors built on a jig in the desert of Oman, the strength and accuracy of the fabrication can clearly be seen. Walter Lacy is the Engineer, James Mills and Robert Long are the fabricators. As far as we are aware, this design is unique to Sureshot. |
